Lori Rosner McDermott’s Legacy Lives On

Lori Rosner McDermott was a dear friend of PFF Founder Laurie DeJong, and she was also a teacher, an empath, and an advocate. During her career in the New York City school system, she helped New York based students connect to students from East Africa. When Lori passed away, her children wanted to honor her memory in a way that truly celebrated the way she lived her life. They decided that supporting the Paper Fig Foundation Tailors, and their quest for education and independence, was a worthy way to honor Lori’s legacy. We at the Paper Fig Foundation are so grateful, and we;’ve named our Skills Training Center in Loris’s memory. Learn more or donate in honor of Lori Rosner McDermott here.
